Hi, I’m Victor.
I studied Computer Science at the University of Twente in the Netherlands, where I became interested in what really happens behind websites, servers, and internet connections.
Today, I work as a network operations engineer for a hosting company. Most of my days are spent troubleshooting connectivity issues, improving infrastructure, and figuring out why something that worked yesterday has suddenly decided not to cooperate.
I created this blog to share practical lessons from my work, explain technical topics in a simple way, and document the things I learn along the way.
Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, strong coffee, and bringing old computers back to life.
